Manage booking times manually and set fixed serving duration to control booking availability between slots

Service Duration

Service duration is used to calculate the estimated waiting time for bookings, and also affects the duration between the slots on mobile bookings.

To enable this option, you can:

1- Go to “Edit Service”

2- Select “Auto” or “Manual” from Service Duration menu

3- Click “Save”

You can also find this option in the “Add Service” and “Bulk Service Update” pages.

The “Auto” option calculates the serving times based on previous bookings. And considering other factors, it gives time estimates of the expected waiting time in the branch and the time slots in the mobile app booking. The “Manual” option is to set fixed service durations in minutes by the user.

The following shows the service duration configuration on the Skiplino portal set to 20 minutes, and accordingly, the slots on the mobile are 20 minutes apart.

Nearest Slot

This option controls the earliest slot when booking on the mobile application to be after the set time. Taking into consideration the average serving time and other factors to show slots on the mobile application.

To enable this option, you can:

1- Go to “Edit Service”

2- Enable the switch of nearest slot and enter the number of minutes that you want to set as the minimum duration for the nearest slot

3- Click “Save”

You can also find this option in the “Add Service” and “Bulk Service Update” pages.

The following table shows the mobile application slots when the nearest slot is set to 20 minutes
