Walk-In Booking Through QR Scanning using Mobile

Dynamic Ticketing booking allows customers to book their queueing tickets seamlessly using their mobile phones.

To enable/disable this feature please follow the steps below:

1. Go to “Configurations” on the portal.

2. Click the “Dynamic Ticketing” tab option.

3. Under “Dynamic Ticketing Configuration” you have these options:

• “Enable Dynamic Ticketing”: Toggling this will enable or disable Dynamic Ticketing.

• “Enable Dynamic QR Code”: Toggling this will change the nature of the QR code, when enabled it will be “Dynamic” and when disabled it will be “Static

- Dynamic: The QR Code will generate a new code every 5 minutes.

- Static: The QR Code will remain the same.

• “Choose Default Screen for Branch App”: a dropdown box with two options to choose from either “QR Code” or “Legacy”.

- QR Code: The main default screen of the Branch App on tablets will showcase the QR Code as the main screen.

- Legacy: The main default screen of the Branch App on tablets will showcase the list of services available in your branch.

4. Click “Save” to save your preferences.

Choosing Static Option

For the Static option this would allow your customers to book Walk-In tickets by scanning code without the need for any hardware, if this is your preference.

To configure to Static (as stated in the previous configuration)

You will need:

• “Enable Dynamic Ticketing”: Toggled “On

• “Enable Dynamic QR Code”: Toggled “Off

Once these configurations are saved, you will now see a new tab has appeared in the Branches section on the dashboard.

1. Go to “Branches” on the portal.

2. Click the “Dynamic Ticketing” tab option.

In this page you will instantly see the Static QR Code, these codes will be linked to specific branch. To preview the QR Code you can click the drop-down box and choose the branch.

1.1 Customers can book by scanning the QR code.

After scanning the Dynamic Ticket Code customers will be redirected to a page where they can book their Walk-In tickets normally from the comfort of their mobile phones.

1.2 Customers has the option to proceed booking directly from the tablet, they can click the “Click here to book on this device” which will take them to the next screen as shown below and they can proceed with manual booking:

2. Dynamic Ticketing “enabled” with Default Screen set as “Legacy” for Branch App

For this screen, manual booking will be the default screen but as you can see at the bottom of the screen there is a small QR Code ready to be scanned in case customers prefer booking using their mobile phones.
